Clinical Attachments
The BABS Clinical Attachment Scheme makes it possible for members to access a register of consultant surgeons who welcome trainees and medical students. Our goal is to build a record of surgeons from across the UK so willing hosts are easy to find for any surgical sub-speciality, wherever you reside in the country.
How it works:
Members who are part of the scheme will be given access to the register of consultant surgeons who are happy to host students and trainees.
Each trainee will be responsible for contacting their chosen consultant to make arrangements compliant with the hosting Trust’s honorary contract/observership process.
